Bill Cunningham New York

As Anna Wintour says in the film, "We all get dressed for Bill." Bill Cunningham, New York's cultural anthropologist has been shooting for the New York Times Style section "On The Street" and "Evening Hours" mostly from his Schwinn bicycle for decades. He is a true artist who still lives in Carnegie Hall. (That is unless they managed to evict the last two artists in residence there.) His passion for the eccentricities of New York street style is what he lives and breathes for - he lives amongst every negative he has ever shot (which began in the 1960's) in filing cabinets that surround his single bed. I dare say he is THE original Satorialist. This film will make you fall in love with New York all over again ... help you see things in a new light, and remind you to look for the beauty in everything. Be sure to take a chic peek (if you're looking at this blog, you're interested in a fashionable life ... this is a must see!) Bill Cunningham New York trailer.
